Trip #4, January 31 - February 22, 2023

Ready for takeoff at Logan, January 31st. Four extra suitcases with 1,000 pairs of hand warmers and 1,000 pairs of toe warmers for the troops.

Descending near Prague, CZ.

Getting ready to hit the road in Prague, headed for the Polish-Ukrainian border

Fill 'er up! It's critical to remember that in Ukraine, the diesel pump handles are BLACK, not GREEN like here. It's so easy to confuse them.

We brought our magnetic signs with us, flying the colors proudly.

Picked up our first load of clothing in Medyka, Poland; to be eventually dropped off in Oskil, Ukraine.

Lining up for the border crossing.

Ukraine at last!

Overnight in Lviv.

Andriy, from Tarascha. Before we left, we sent him funds to buy a new generator for their community center.

The first of many buying trips at a food warehouse.

An aid drop in Tarascha, about 1.5 hours south of Kyiv.

We love getting these pics from people distributing what we drop off; this is for one family.

Beneficiaries of our donors' generosity!

Thank you to BEDFORD ANIMAL HOSPITAL for providing funding for dog and cat food!

An all too familiar sight when driving through areas previously occupied by the Russian "orcs". One less "orcmobile" to harass the Ukrainians.

First drop of the trip, an orphanage in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Awesome kids, eager to help out!

A late-night drop at an elderly care facility outside Ivano-Frankivsk.

The sounds of the city in Ukraine. Generators everywhere, for backup during planned (and unplanned) outages.
