As you can see from the above map, the vast majority of our efforts were spent helping the people in the far eastern part of the country, which has been most heavily impacted by the war. We regularly visited dozens of villages close to the front, where it's primarily elderly people remaining. 

Many of these people have never left their home area, and are determined to stay in their homes even with an elevated level of risk. We're happy to risk part of a day making a delivery there, if these people are brave enough to live there day in & day out.

Our visits let them know that the world hasn't forgotten about them, and that there are people out there who care about them. It's more than just food & hygiene we deliver, it's HOPE.
