Trip #1, March 23 - April 13

Planning for the trip at my house, with Mila and Eugene. They're from outside Lviv, and were a huge help while we were in Poland.

The journey starts! Mila and Yevgen seeing me off at Logan airport.

Ivan, Frito and the gang at one of our dropoff points for aid to the Ukrainian military.

Picking up a load of military radios, body armor, etc. to be driven 5 hours to the border.

Shopping with 19 refugees to get them new clothing and sneakers.

After the crew in Room 13 signed the flag, Jersey Jim wore it for the entire Boston Marathon!

The beginning and end of our journey; 8001 km = 4,972 miles.
