Dovhen'ke

Our good friend Alexey Palko has contacts in the military and the aid community, and suggested we help out the people of Dovhen’ke, one of many dozens of villages that was ravaged by fighting before the Ukrainians evicted the Russian forces. Slowly but surely, people are starting to return, but they need all the help they can get as winter comes on.
On a cold, snowy, blustery day, we delivered 50 boxes packed with good hearty foods to help them out. We also brought a lot of candy, cookies and juices for the children of the village. We were informed that the kids haven’t returned just yet, and are staying in Izium, and larger nearby town. We dropped off the candy there on the way back.
